Unit 19 - Avoca Palms Resort

Great location but disappointing condition of the apartment Positive: Location was fantastic, great pool and bbq area Negative: the apartment was not cleaned properly. We had to re- wash all cutlery and crockery and the kitchen cupboards haven’t been cleaned for a long time. The balcony floor was very dirty as was the outdoor furniture. Bits of the bathroom and laundry were rusted and not cleaned for a long time. The place is very tired and didn’t reflect the photos on booking.com Given the state of the apartment, I would be hard to recommend this apartment to others. Also note that there are many sets of stairs , makes access difficult to and from the apartment. Not value for money!

Great family-friendly apartment in excellent location Positive: The location is great - close to shops, cafes and restaurants. The unit was very quiet - virtually no traffic noise. The bedrooms are all of a good size, and the main bedroom and ensuite are substantial. The whole unit is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc. Negative: The unit is now showing its age, and some parts could do with some renovation. Also I may have missed it, but it wasn't clear there would be no coffee/tea provided (although milk was provided in the fridge). This is fine, but would be a nice addition.

Positive: This is a very easy holiday for a family with older children. It is easy to get to the beach but the kids also love the pool, sauna, gym and pool table at Avoca Palms.
